The Lanzenkirchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Barten should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Tzolo Babanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Barten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Ostrev in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Mario Haag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velichko Mitrakiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Haag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubrat Shopski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Tino Andres in the 39thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Velichko Mitrakiev had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, ФК Фанагория's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Haag came free, but Velichko Mitrakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tino Andres charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tino Andres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ФК Фанагория booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tino Andres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tino Andres was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Dreher to maneuver through the defense. Velichko Mitrakiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Haag, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luis Barten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Ostrev in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Slavey Barakov took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Luis Barten to make any attempt to save it. After 61 played minutes Slavey Barakov rounded Lanzenkirchen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. After a rather tough play, ФК Фанагория's Kubrat Shopski got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 72 minutes, Mathias Schlacher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanzenkirchen and the ФК Фанагория players grew even worse after the yellow card. Velichko Mitrakiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tino Andres's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Kuzman Ostrev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Velichko Mitrakiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tino Andres in the 93rd minute of the match. Kuzman Ostrev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luis Barten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ФК Фанагория walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
