Gusztáv Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander Steurms in the 3rd minute of the match. Gusztáv Győrffy charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gusztáv Győrffy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gusztáv Győrffy hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes, Bacardi FC's Cornelis Rondas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gusztáv Jászberényi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacardi FC reached it. In the 7th minute, Máté Medve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Xander Steurms came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Bacardi FC were awarded a corner. Cornelis Rondas went to the cornerflag to take it. Krisztián György's late challenge caught a Bacardi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krisztián György helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Xander Steurms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gusztáv Jászberényi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Gerebics during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Gerebics didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven De Kelper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander Steurms in the 26th minute of play. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xander Steurms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xander Steurms, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Artuur Van Steen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gusztáv Jászberényi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35thth minute of the game Steven De Kelper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Bacardi FC's Steven De Kelper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gusztáv Jászberényi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Arif Cengiz Uzlet made a precise shot to the right of Gusztáv Jászberényi. Szombathely Squirrels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. János Major was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xander Steurms was the one to do the kick off. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Louis Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Jakó. Gusztáv Jászberényi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. When Arif Cengiz Uzlet came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bacardi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Cengiz Uzlet couldn't finish the play. Gusztáv Jászberényi was a little too slow when Steven De Kelper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Bacardi FC's Xander Steurms slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi. That made the score 0-9 after 76 minutes of play. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Lou Haesevoets replaced Steven De Kelper. Gusztáv Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Haesevoets in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, 乔适桑 notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi. Gusztáv Jászberényi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lou Haesevoets got free with Gusztáv Jászberényi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Szilárd Csikós got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Gusztáv Győrffy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bacardi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
