After 3 minutes, Krisztián György mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the Вежен players grew even worse after the yellow card. Krisztián György hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Anko Katincharov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gusztáv Jászberényi. Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusztáv Győrffy in the 10th minute of play forced Вежен's goalkeeper Gercho Mantarkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Вежен got a freekick which was hit by Vitan Tzutzekov. Gercho Mantarkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Major in the 14th minute of the match. Szombathely Squirrels's Szilárd Csikós suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. László Szőke replaced Szilárd Csikós. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when Вежен was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitan Tzutzekov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Вежен defense, Gusztáv Győrffy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gercho Mantarkov. The Вежен fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gercho Mantarkov should have stopped the shot. Yuri Velkov kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Szombathely Squirrels's Attila Gerebics in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Вежен's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Velkov made a kick off. Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Velkov in the 52nd minute of play. Attila Gerebics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gercho Mantarkov having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gusztáv Győrffy made a precise shot to the right of Gercho Mantarkov. Вежен's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Anko Katincharov kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Attila Gerebics received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gercho Mantarkov came out and tried to block the shot, but Attila Gerebics slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. After 77 played minutes Вежен got a freekick which was hit by Sava Vatrachki. Вежен's Gercho Mantarkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusztáv Győrffy in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Вежен's Gercho Mantarkov got control of the ball when Ferenc Jászberényi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Gerebics in the 82nd minute of play forced Вежен's goalkeeper Gercho Mantarkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuri Velkov during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 84 minutes, Gusztáv Győrffy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gusztáv Győrffy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Вежен's Gercho Mantarkov got control of the ball when Gusztáv Győrffy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Вежен's Sava Vatrachki got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Zsolt Vörös sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Вежен's Gercho Mantarkov didn't even have to move. In the 92nd match minute, Вежен was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitan Tzutzekov to maneuver through the defense. Вежен's Gercho Mantarkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Вежен from getting a goal against them.
