Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Jouke Jacobs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mich Batshuayi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Laurens Oosterman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Emiel Dilling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Arioli was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Ferdi van der Schaaf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Mich Batshuayi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save De Pelgrims from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Mateo Esiquio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurens Oosterman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mich Batshuayi came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laurens Oosterman could save by the left post. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiel Dilling in the 34th minute of play. Ant Koyak charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ant Koyak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Ant Koyak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mich Batshuayi got free with Laurens Oosterman in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, De Pelgrims's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mich Batshuayi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mich Batshuayi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Esiquio in the 51st minute of play. Tristan Arioli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiel Dilling in the 53rd minute. If Emiel Dilling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes in the game, Marco Kiewiet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Mich Batshuayi came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcellus Walpert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Steiner in the 64th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiel Dilling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tristan Arioli made a huge save. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Walpert in the 77th minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Esiquio in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elbert Spanjer to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Ferdi van der Schaaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Olympique Fribourg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
