Yanko Karaivanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Szél, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th match minute, DOROSTOL Ss was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Suvandzhiev to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Kostadin Desov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Bodonyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SÉ SE booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiril Kratunkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes, SÉ SE's László Pálinkás shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yanko Karaivanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SÉ SE reached it. If Albert Szél had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Kádár in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanko Karaivanov saved DOROSTOL Ss from getting behind. Patrik Kádár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Yanko Karaivanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavlin Klyashev hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match László Pálinkás shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yanko Karaivanov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Szuper in the 29th minute of play. Krisztián Bodonyi came out of the goal and Kostadin Desov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ivo Suvandzhiev hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Sándor Szuper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Suvandzhiev hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Slaveyko Tzotzev fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DOROSTOL Ss's protests and gave Slaveyko Tzotzev a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes DOROSTOL Ss got a freekick which was hit by Slaveyko Tzotzev. Kostadin Desov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krisztián Bodonyi having to interfere. If Sándor Szuper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SÉ SE made a substitution. Norbert Hujber replaced Ákos Tokody. In the 68th minute Patrik Kádár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanko Karaivanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanko Karaivanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Avgustin Barabankov got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Kostadin Desov fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DOROSTOL Ss's protests and gave Kostadin Desov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Kostadin Desov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Patrik Kádár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Szél sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SÉ SE's Miklós Solti got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SÉ SE players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
