The audience thought a goal was coming when Mich Batshuayi got free with Krisztián Bodonyi in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Solti in the 5th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mich Batshuayi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Patrik Kádár's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Arioli was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mich Batshuayi to strike the kick off in the second half. Krisztián Bodonyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Esiquio in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to SÉ SE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. András Rácz hit a great ball. Krisztián Bodonyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Esiquio in the 56th minute of the match. László Pálinkás's late challenge caught a Olympique Fribourg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. László Pálinkás helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, László Pálinkás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Steiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Krisztián Bodonyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. András Hámori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. Krisztián Bodonyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steiner in the 64th minute of the match. Krisztián Bodonyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mich Batshuayi in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Esiquio in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krisztián Bodonyi saved SÉ SE from getting behind. Matt Metzger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sándor Szuper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Arioli having to make a save.
