Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jouke Jacobs got the match started through his kick off. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Henderickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Elbert Spanjer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Jouke Jacobs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douglas Schoenmaekers. The goal made the score 2-0. Jouke Jacobs's late challenge caught a FC Bruges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jouke Jacobs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Jouke Jacobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Spanjer came free, but Douglas Schoenmaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Schoenmaekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elbert Spanjer's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Henderickx in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as De Pelgrims's Elbert Spanjer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Douglas Schoenmaekers. That made the score 4-0 after 37 minutes of play. Jouke Jacobs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Douglas Schoenmaekers made a huge save. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Elbert Spanjer scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Schoenmaekers, making the score, 5-0. Elbert Spanjer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Schoenmaekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Shane Corrigan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When De Pelgrims's Jouke Jacobs in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. Douglas Schoenmaekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elbert Spanjer's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Douglas Schoenmaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jouke Jacobs in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Elbert Spanjer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Schoenmaekers should have stopped the shot. FC Bruges's Douglas Schoenmaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jouke Jacobs in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Elbert Spanjer made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 74th minute Elbert Spanjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Schoenmaekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Jouke Jacobs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, De Pelgrims's Jouke Jacobs made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Schoenmaekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi van der Schaaf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jouke Jacobs in the 85th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Douglas Schoenmaekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdi van der Schaaf hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Elbert Spanjer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Schoenmaekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Jouke Jacobs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. De Pelgrims were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Bruges for a fine match.
