Alfred Oevermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Antal in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szabolcs Hoffman during the 19th minute. In the 26th minute, Nathan Wermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aydemir Okyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remond Zijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nathan Wermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Aydemir Okyar made a huge save. Nathan Wermans took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aydemir Okyar. Aydemir Okyar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Martien Meerdink succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathan Wermans to make the kick off. Kristóf Kovács hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. De Kasteelheren's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henk Hoebe in the 55th minute. Hub Groten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aydemir Okyar. Andrashida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pieter-Jan Staarman's late challenge caught a Andrashida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
