Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathieux De Weyngaert started the match with the kick off. Mich Batshuayi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 3rd minute. Olympique Fribourg's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 5 minutes into the match, Mateo Esiquio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Douglas Schoenmaekers, 2-0. Mich Batshuayi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Schoenmaekers having to interfere. When %teams%'s Mich Batshuayi was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 14 minutes into the game. Douglas Schoenmaekers was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Mich Batshuayi took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Schoenmaekers. Douglas Schoenmaekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Douglas Schoenmaekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Steiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Schoenmaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steiner in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mich Batshuayi took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Douglas Schoenmaekers to make any attempt to save it. Douglas Schoenmaekers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bruno Steiner sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shane Corrigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mich Batshuayi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Douglas Schoenmaekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Fribourg. Bruno Steiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Douglas Schoenmaekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bruges's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mich Batshuayi 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-0. Mathieux De Weyngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The wind increased when Mich Batshuayi made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Mich Batshuayi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Schoenmaekers should have stopped the shot. When Olympique Fribourg's Mich Batshuayi in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Olympique Fribourg's Mich Batshuayi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Schoenmaekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Mich Batshuayi succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 12-0. 76 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's Mateo Esiquio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Schoenmaekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Mich Batshuayi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mich Batshuayi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. FC Bruges's Douglas Schoenmaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mich Batshuayi in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Shane Corrigan. Douglas Schoenmaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mich Batshuayi in the 85th minute of the match. When Olympique Fribourg's Mich Batshuayi in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. Bruno Steiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Schoenmaekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Steiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Douglas Schoenmaekers came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner. But to his dismay, Bruno Steiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Douglas Schoenmaekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mich Batshuayi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Douglas Schoenmaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mich Batshuayi in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Olympique Fribourg were the better team. Olympique Fribourg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
