The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frederic Gschwendtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 3rd minute of play. The referee ignored ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's protests and gave Mehmet Altuner a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes ＫÎＬＬÎＫ got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Altuner. After 9 minutes, Leverett Niens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the B68 Toftir and the ＫÎＬＬÎＫ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ＫÎＬＬÎＫ booed when B68 Toftir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leverett Niens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Šeško hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonas Rein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Rein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Rein scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ＫÎＬＬÎＫ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jonas Rein hit a great ball. When Jonas Rein was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. After 28 played minutes ＫÎＬＬÎＫ got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Rein. Frederic Gschwendtner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Šeško went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sedat Özkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sedat Özkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mamardashvili having to interfere. In the 44th minute Benjamin Šeško shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Gschwendtner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Sedat Özkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Giorgi Mamardashvili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romero Widenmeier made a kick off. Frederic Gschwendtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Čvančara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Šeško came free, but Frederic Gschwendtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgi Mamardashvili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sedat Özkan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Frederic Gschwendtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's Frederic Gschwendtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Čvančara in the 68th minute of play. Salih Özcan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Giorgi Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Kromp, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's Frederic Gschwendtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romero Widenmeier in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute, Arne De Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's zone, Arne De Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederic Gschwendtner came out of the goal and Arne De Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederic Gschwendtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksandar Pavlovic in the 92nd minute of play. B68 Toftir's Arne De Souza got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Arne De Souza off the ground. Arne De Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see B68 Toftir lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
