After having played for 10 minutes, Barry Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Beverpatrouille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Van Bever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barry Van Bever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jansens having to interfere. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Henri-Xavier Geeraerts hit a great ball. KFC Vliegplein's Matthew Lijsens got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylven Vereeken kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Barry Van Bever who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Beverpatrouille's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthew Lijsens ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferdinand Weijnants made a great header on KFC Vliegplein's corner, it was just that De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens managed to reach the ball for a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Weijnants made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Van Bever in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Jansens saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. De Beverpatrouille's Barry Van Bever got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Barry Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Beverpatrouille's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Van Bever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Jansens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Weijnants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loui Volens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Lijsens in the 66th minute of the match. Mark Jansens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Van Bever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Laporte took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loui Volens. De Beverpatrouille's Eduard Postolache got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loui Volens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylven Vereeken in the 91st minute of the match. De Beverpatrouille's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
