Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gert Sterckx started the match with the kick off. When Lennart De Keyser came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Invictus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart De Keyser couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lennart De Keyser hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Mark Jansens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Sterckx. In the 15th minute, Gert Sterckx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Jansens. The goal made the score 1-0. Kristof Verdonck kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Lijsens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lennart De Keyser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Jacque Van den Gans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invictus FC and the KFC Vliegplein players grew even worse after the yellow card. KFC Vliegplein's Franck De Vriendt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jamie van Elderen in the 39 minute of the game. Wesly Leenpoels hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Eddy Laporte kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthew Lijsens got free with Sammy Candries in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 56th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Mark Jansens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Gert Sterckx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes, Gert Sterckx made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Lijsens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Sammy Candries made a huge save. Eddy Laporte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sammy Candries read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
