Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ferdinand Weijnants got the match started through his kick off. Benjamin Geiger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Jansens having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Josias Eigner came free, but Mark Jansens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Favian Kampus got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of FC Rägi booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthy Algoedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Rägi's Benjamin Geiger got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Baggenstoss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Weijnants came free, but Jochen Baggenstoss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's Wesly Leenpoels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jochen Baggenstoss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juanito Beaudry's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mark Jansens firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Weijnants in the 37th minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Jochen Baggenstoss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Nagels. KFC Vliegplein made a substitution. Tomm Verbraecken replaced Thierry Nagels. Maxi Marti hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Norbert Suetens fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Vliegplein's protests and gave Norbert Suetens a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Suetens. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC Rägi's Christopher Wulf was substituted for Juanito Beaudry. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sinclair Vonrotz to strike the kick off in the second half. Jochen Baggenstoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Geiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Nils Eberhart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Weijnants in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Baggenstoss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute KFC Vliegplein were awarded a corner. Matthew Lijsens went to the cornerflag to take it. KFC Vliegplein's Franck De Vriendt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jochen Baggenstoss in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Baggenstoss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute KFC Vliegplein were awarded a corner. Matthew Lijsens went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Franck De Vriendt drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind FC Rägi's goalkeeper. Jochen Baggenstoss made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ferdinand Weijnants sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Tomm Verbraecken got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Wesly Leenpoels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Wulf in the 84th minute of play. If Benjamin Geiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Geiger in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Wesly Leenpoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Baggenstoss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sinclair Vonrotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jansens having to interfere. Mark Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Geiger in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KFC Vliegplein walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
