The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naum Mentov during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Laziali getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Naum Mentov hit a great ball. Adalbert Oblakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Nikola Drinov made a huge save. Laziali's Nikola Drinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop van der Schaaf in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristofor Ikonomov in the 11th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Pieter Beuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Laziali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlado Tarandzhiyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Vaklin Zhablyanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laziali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Adalbert Oblakov got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Rostislav Filchovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laziali were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rostislav Filchovski took the corner. In the 38th minute Hristofor Ikonomov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter Beuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalbert Oblakov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaklin Zhablyanov to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalbert Oblakov in the 73rd minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Nikola Drinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Szegh to maneuver through the defense. Nikola Drinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop van der Schaaf in the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Roelof van Kampen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roelof van Kampen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 minutes, Vlado Tarandzhiyski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laziali and the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Laziali walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
