An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Vaklin Zhablyanov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Argir Fikov hit a great ball. Boban Bobek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naum Mentov in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Min Jaeger during the 81st minute.
