Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kuzman Leyarski kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Velyo Vidolov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Kuzman Leyarski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoncho Búrdarov got free with Stayko Kalugerov in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Kuzman Leyarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stayko Kalugerov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Bilyan Sapunarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Stayko Kalugerov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botev Plovdiv 1912's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The MANCHESTER UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Lalchev should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Romeo came free, but Anton Lalchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toshko Gerginov's late challenge caught a Botev Plovdiv 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toshko Gerginov helped the player get up and apologised. Toshko Gerginov hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ognyan Filipov in the 28th minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Anton Lalchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Lalchev firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stayko Kalugerov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuzman Leyarski in the 69th minute of the match.
