Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barry Masker started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Falco Boerma. In the 3rd minute of the match Douglas Debecker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raymond Bos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edward Verbeek took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Vanneste. Julius Vanneste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Julius Vanneste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Masker in the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Koos Teunissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Raymond Bos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Raymond Bos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Debecker in the 16th minute. Barry Masker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Vanneste having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Douglas Debecker made a precise shot to the right of Raymond Bos. Lemel SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Du Sausois came free, but Raymond Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Masker in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Barry Masker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julius Vanneste. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius Vanneste should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Barry Masker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julius Vanneste was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Debecker got free with Raymond Bos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Schollens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Du Sausois was the one to do the kick off. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Debecker in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Carels to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Douglas Debecker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Bos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Debecker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Deckkers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry Masker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barry Masker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Julius Vanneste when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Barry Masker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julius Vanneste. Limburg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Masker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The audience was convinced that Barry Masker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julius Vanneste was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Barry Masker did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Julius Vanneste 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Barry Masker made a precise shot to the right of Julius Vanneste. Limburg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Debecker in the 84th minute of play. Luke Demarez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Tonny Sneijder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julius Vanneste skillfully saved the ball. Lemel SV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
