The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pylyp Vitvitskyi during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pylyp Vitvitskyi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Juraj Bicák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Vadym Yarovyi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anıl Baran Uslu. The goal made the score 1-0. Anıl Baran Uslu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kukova United's Anıl Baran Uslu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svyatoslav Krutyvus in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kukova United's goal looked a bit too open when Myroslav Akymenko came free, but Anıl Baran Uslu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislav Tribula hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Pylyp Vitvitskyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ruh Lviv fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruh Lviv's zone, Gao Zhen Chao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andriy Trubin came out of the goal and Gao Zhen Chao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Zhen Chao in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Myroslav Akymenko in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Baran Uslu saved Kukova United from getting behind. After 47 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Danylo Lobanovsjkyi. Gao Zhen Chao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Andriy Trubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Myroslav Akymenko to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kukova United's goal looked a bit too open when Myroslav Akymenko came free, but Anıl Baran Uslu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
