Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Douglas Debecker in the 5th minute. The supporters of Limburg United booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matviy Rudnyak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Douglas Debecker came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Limburg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Debecker couldn't finish the play. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlo Paraschiy in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to FC Ruh Lviv getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Illja Klochko hit a great ball. Philip Toeback struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Andriy Trubin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. In the 16th minute of the match, Myroslav Akymenko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julius Vanneste saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julius Vanneste made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Artem Zborovskyi sent off a good shot on target. When Yves Schollens came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Limburg United fans jumped to their feet. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artem Zborovskyi got free with Julius Vanneste in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Yves Schollens. Julius Vanneste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Myroslav Akymenko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Philip Toeback got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 45th match minute, FC Ruh Lviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matviy Rudnyak to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Debecker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philip Toeback in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andriy Trubin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Limburg United were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after FC Ruh Lviv's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Douglas Debecker took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Douglas Debecker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andriy Trubin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of FC Ruh Lviv booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Debecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orest Maklakov charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orest Maklakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douglas Debecker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Trubin having to interfere. Yarema Rybka kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Matviy Rudnyak got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, one of FC Ruh Lviv:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruh Lviv. After 90 minutes FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin managed, with a little bit of luck, save Douglas Debecker's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. When Douglas Debecker fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limburg United's protests and gave Douglas Debecker a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Debecker. When the referee ended the match the FC Ruh Lviv players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
