The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when FC Stadtclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Vrijdags didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 9th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Co Luijpers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Dukaton f.c. defense, Carlos Dufresne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Co Luijpers. The Dukaton f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Co Luijpers should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Federico Wagner got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brain Ricksen in the 17th minute of the match. Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cohen in the 19th minute of play. Simon Lampart kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 26th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Co Luijpers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dukaton f.c.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthias Vrijdags was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Stadtclub's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matthias Vrijdags hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Dufresne in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Co Luijpers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Carlos Dufresne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Co Luijpers was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Dufresne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Yannick Walpert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cohen in the 67th minute of play forced FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper Alkestis Stasinopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romero Affolter in the 70th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Co Luijpers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Dufresne in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Co Luijpers saved Dukaton f.c. from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Barends to maneuver through the defense. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Stadtclub from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Cohen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Alkestis Stasinopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th minute Jonathan Cohen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkestis Stasinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Brain Ricksen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. FC Stadtclub succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Dukaton f.c. had controlled the match.
