Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jerry Verbeeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartjan Parmentier in the 40th minute of play. Simon Lampart hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arsene Vermeulen came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alkestis Stasinopoulos could save by the left post. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf van Goetsenhoven in the 45th minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Arsene Vermeulen sent off a good shot on target. Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartjan Parmentier in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Reuters was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Dufresne during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KFC Paal-Tervant getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bram Van Wontergem hit a great ball. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when FC Stadtclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Lampart didn't get a good kick on the ball.
