Erik Hertzog started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifatius Scarano in the 2nd minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Mirko Mos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1. FC Union Weberei's Bonifatius Scarano got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bill Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Baars hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifatius Scarano in the 14th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Mirko Mos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Bernard Theunissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifatius Scarano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Mos having to interfere. Mirko Mos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Hertzog's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Bonifatius Scarano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mirko Mos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mirko Mos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifatius Scarano in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuliano Baumann in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirko Mos saved Springplank FC from getting behind. The supporters of 1. FC Union Weberei booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jef Meyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Giuliano Baumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Mos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirko Mos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifatius Scarano in the 40th minute of the match. Bonifatius Scarano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Giuliano Baumann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1. FC Union Weberei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The wind increased when Nico-Jan Geerts made the kick off in the second half. The Springplank FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirko Mos should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Giuliano Baumann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bonifatius Scarano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Springplank FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1. FC Union Weberei were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
