The referee ignored Café DE PLOEG's protests and gave Reinaud Goethals a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Reinaud Goethals hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Ferdi Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes in the game, I-Made 吕正岚 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jim Kamps having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Holder Behnert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Springplank FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Café DE PLOEG the free kick. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Reis in the 25th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Kamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibaut Kuppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Van der Veken in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Ottens in the 35th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jim Kamps made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Henri Van Hespe sent off a good shot on target. After 41 minutes, Casper Ottens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Springplank FC and the Café DE PLOEG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Springplank FC got a freekick which was hit by Casper Ottens.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Café DE PLOEG booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kang Ting Qing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Springplank FC's Jim Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Van der Veken in the 52nd minute of play. Jim Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Vischkens in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Freek Reitsema came free, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Springplank FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Café DE PLOEG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kang Ting Qing took the corner. Mathieu Schophuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Louis Vischkens kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jim Kamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Van Hespe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Kuppens. Ferdi Reis struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springplank FC. Café DE PLOEG's Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Reis in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Casper Ottens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Ferdi Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ferdi Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Ottens got free with Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play Springplank FC's Casper Ottens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Ottens to maneuver through the defense. The Café DE PLOEG support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
