After some careless play in the Balassagyarmat SC defense, Jakub Waselenczuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gomez Esperanza. The Balassagyarmat SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gomez Esperanza should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Fred Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gomez Esperanza was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Fred Lara succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Gomez Esperanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Waselenczuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomez Esperanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Cerit in the 32nd minute of play. If Jakub Waselenczuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Jakub Waselenczuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Fred Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balassagyarmat SC's Gomez Esperanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Fred Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gomez Esperanza was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Lara in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gomez Esperanza saved Balassagyarmat SC from getting behind. Yusuf Ziya Cerit struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gomez Esperanza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lugano. With an all-out effort, FC Lugano's Gomez Esperanza threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack Saunders, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fred Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Gomez Esperanza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 91st play minutes Fred Lara shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Gomez Esperanza and just under the crossbar into goal. 96 minutes into the game, Fred Lara lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Gomez Esperanza. FC Lugano played a much better game than Balassagyarmat SC and deserved their victory. The Balassagyarmat SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
