Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) FC Lugano's Jack Saunders started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Saunders in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilius Ringeli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Klas Tingelholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilius Ringeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Gil Fritsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Cui Cheng Liang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilius Ringeli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Lugano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cui Cheng Liang in the 16th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tarada's goalie and right to Jack Saunders. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tarada's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Everett Widmer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everett Widmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Tarada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lugano:s goal. After some careless play in the Tarada defense, Fred Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilius Ringeli. The Tarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilius Ringeli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Tingelholm in the 25th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Basilius Ringeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Tingelholm came free, but Basilius Ringeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gil Fritsch fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarada's protests and gave Gil Fritsch a yellow card for diving instead. Gil Fritsch kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cui Cheng Liang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Fred Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilius Ringeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Jack Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilius Ringeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tarada booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cui Cheng Liang during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Jack Saunders's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilius Ringeli was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.
The wind increased when Otto Dubler made the kick off in the second half. Jakub Waselenczuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Basilius Ringeli made a huge save. Basilius Ringeli had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jack Saunders from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Tarada's Gil Fritsch got a free kick in the 60th minute. Basilius Ringeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cui Cheng Liang in the 60th minute of the match. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraud Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. FC Lugano's La Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Raiola in the 66th minute of play. Jack Saunders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Basilius Ringeli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Saunders in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilius Ringeli saved Tarada from getting behind. After 69 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Fred Lara made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilius Ringeli was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Lugano's Nereo Precioso was substituted for Igor Linares. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Jakub Waselenczuk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th minute Fred Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilius Ringeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Saunders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Waselenczuk came free, but Basilius Ringeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match FC Lugano got a corner. Tarada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cui Cheng Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zhao Le Sen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Oliver Montandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Montandon. Tarada's Basilius Ringeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Tarada's Otto Dubler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that La Para narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Jakub Waselenczuk made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tarada's Basilius Ringeli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
