A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Juan Rosario hit a great ball. FC Zhelezna's Velcho Pentov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraud Mazza in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Johnny Raiola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Velcho Pentov. The goal made the score 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Dubler to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Rosario's late challenge caught a Tarada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Montandon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Velcho Pentov. FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute Otto Dubler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velcho Pentov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilius Ringeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zhelezna.
