An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Di Canio in the 34th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 50th minute Claude Montens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaklin Kortov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaklin Kortov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Montens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tihomir Nachevski's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tihomir Nachevski helped the player get up and apologised. But to his dismay, Celedonio Kemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Vaklin Kortov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
