The corner ended in Giovanni Rademaker almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fire Devils's Walter Fransson did a great save. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Giovanni Rademaker sped through Fire Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Fransson. The crowd rose to their feet as Fire Devils's Loris Hellmüller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert-Jan Hermensen. That made the score 2-1 after 19 minutes of play. Huib van der Gun might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Huib van der Gun ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Rademaker. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib van der Gun in the 44th minute of play. Giovanni Craandijk kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When Giovanni Rademaker came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the NFC Eagles 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Rademaker couldn't finish the play. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Giovanni Rademaker hit a great ball. Domenik de Vos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Giovanni Rademaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Fransson made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Huib van der Gun sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenik de Vos. In the 78th minute NFC Eagles 22 were awarded a corner. Huib van der Gun went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Huib van der Gun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fire Devils's Walter Fransson did a great save. 89 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huib van der Gun. 92 minutes into the game, Arjan Kun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFC Eagles 22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Devils the free kick. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Arjan Kun got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Fire Devils's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
