AVV Zeeburgia's attentive Stephan Stout managed to snatch the ball when Jan Tulner made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. When Aurel Gârleanu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the AVV Zeeburgia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Gârleanu couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, AVV Zeeburgia's Aurel Gârleanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
