Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) NFC Eagles 22's Ton de Ruijter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Aurel Agârbiceanu got control of the ball when David De Raeijmaecker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Douglas Loosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFC Eagles 22 the free kick. In the 12th minute, Douglas Loosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Mil Vandamme came free, but Aurel Agârbiceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Meijs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Dekeyser having to make a save. NFC Eagles 22's Ton de Ruijter got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Loosen. Aurel Agârbiceanu made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when David De Raeijmaecker sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when David De Raeijmaecker came free, but Aurel Agârbiceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Agârbiceanu stood somewhat misplaced when David De Raeijmaecker came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Aurel Agârbiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mil Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Marc Vermeulen made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NFC Eagles 22's Bruno Meijs. Gertjan Baars hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Gertjan Baars came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the NFC Eagles 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gertjan Baars couldn't finish the play. Ton de Ruijter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Dekeyser having to interfere. Douglas Loosen got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Loosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Mil Vandamme made the kick off in the second half. If Ton de Ruijter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurel Agârbiceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David De Raeijmaecker's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. North Hill United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marc Vermeulen in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marc Vermeulen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurel Agârbiceanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vincent Dekeyser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ton de Ruijter in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Ton de Ruijter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurel Agârbiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mil Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of North Hill United booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Rademaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Brend Van Linthoudt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Agârbiceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Agârbiceanu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by North Hill United's Brend Van Linthoudt. But to his dismay, Brend Van Linthoudt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the NFC Eagles 22 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for North Hill United.
