Aílton Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cillian Zellweger in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of AVV Zeeburgia booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loris Hellmüller didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Stephan Stout in the 18th minute really tested Walter Fransson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rene Cirella hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Servet Akburç came free, but Walter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Akburç in the 24th minute of play. Servet Akburç might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Servet Akburç ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AVV Zeeburgia's Gong Jian Jing got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Servet Akburç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Servet Akburç came free, but Walter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Servet Akburç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Cirella kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Gong Jian Jing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Servet Akburç in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. After taking down the ball on AVV Zeeburgia's corner Stephan Stout fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Fransson quite easily take care of the ball. Servet Akburç might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Servet Akburç ran back to his position shaking his head. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Akburç in the 59th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Servet Akburç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Walter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leander Uliassi in the 61st minute of play. Walter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Akburç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Servet Akburç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVV Zeeburgia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Servet Akburç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Servet Akburç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rene Cirella made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dave Saenger immediately put the ball in play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match AVV Zeeburgia got a corner. Fire Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stephan Stout ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AVV Zeeburgia's corner Stephan Stout fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Fransson quite easily take care of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, AVV Zeeburgia's Servet Akburç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 95th minute, Servet Akburç made a precise shot to the right of Walter Fransson. Fire Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AVV Zeeburgia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fire Devils had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
