The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Fc Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Terpstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Lammens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Junel having to make a save. Edgard Rijaard made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Herbert Springelkamp sent off a good shot on target. Fc Benefica's Edgard Rijaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Benefica from getting a goal against them. FFC Merainies 03's Best Junel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Lammens in the 26th minute of play. When FFC Merainies 03's Niek Bemmel, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FFC Merainies 03. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Geert Rademaker hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Ronald Lammens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Benefica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Lammens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Yuri Paauwe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Best Junel. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Best Junel should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bert Bemmel hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Edgard Rijaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Bemmel in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by 宋宇博. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Denny van den Berg got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Herbert Springelkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael van Zeggeren during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronald Lammens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Best Junel made a huge save. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Best Junel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FFC Merainies 03's Best Junel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes FFC Merainies 03's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Terpstra who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fc Benefica's corner Iwan Terpstra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Best Junel quite easily take care of the ball. FFC Merainies 03 were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fc Benefica to leave the ground with a draw.
