Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronald Lammens started the match with the kick off. Tamás Cseh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Lammens in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Laczkó to maneuver through the defense. When Yuri Paauwe came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Fc Benefica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Paauwe couldn't finish the play. Tamás Cseh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Lammens in the 18th minute of the match. Fc Benefica's Edgard Rijaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Benefica from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Ronald Lammens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamás Cseh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ronald Lammens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Cseh having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Terpstra. Edgard Rijaard was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Géza György. In the 43rd match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy Schokkenbroek to maneuver through the defense. István Fülöp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Edgard Rijaard made a huge save. The FC Henter Somosd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Benefica were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute István Fülöp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Rijaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, FC Henter Somosd's István Fülöp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Rijaard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ronald Lammens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Tamás Cseh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Lajos Laczkó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Henter Somosd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Henter Somosd's zone, Ronald Lammens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamás Cseh came out of the goal and Ronald Lammens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. István Fülöp kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When FC Henter Somosd's István Fülöp in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Benefica's goalie prevented a goal. Lajos Laczkó's late challenge caught a Fc Benefica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lajos Laczkó helped the player get up and apologised.
