Verner Hynek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juraj Grenčík in the 28th minute of play. Verner Hynek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Pittner, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Eustaquio Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ľubomír Pittner in the 40th minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Verner Hynek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Radek Fidler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ľubomír Pittner to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Lex Academy got a corner. FC Kukova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xie Chao Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Xie Chao Yang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kukova's Václav Židek did a great save. Richard Mihálek made a great header on FC Kukova's corner, it was just that Lex Academy's Verner Hynek managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Matej Ťažký took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Verner Hynek to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, Richard Mihálek notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lex Academy's Verner Hynek. Verner Hynek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Kukova played a much better game than Lex Academy and deserved their victory. The Lex Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
