In the 6th minute Luke Van der Meiren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Etienne van Hacht to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute Roano Santome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunter Roeckeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roano Santome in the 23rd minute of play. Quentin De Prins's late challenge caught a KFC Cromvelde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin De Prins helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Quentin De Prins got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ulan Bator Football Club's Etienne van Hacht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ulan Bator Football Club from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored KFC Cromvelde's protests and gave Willem-Alexander Vercauteren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Vereeken in the 48th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etienne van Hacht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Cromvelde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Concetto Cesare kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Roano Santome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt in the 60th minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Etienne van Hacht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunter Roeckeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Vereeken in the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Cromvelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etienne van Hacht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roano Santome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etienne van Hacht was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 77 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt came free, but Etienne van Hacht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quentin De Prins hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luke Van der Meiren got free with Gunter Roeckeloes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91stth minute of the game Quillian Cromefeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulan Bator Football Club's Etienne van Hacht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Ulan Bator Football Club defense, Quillian Cromefeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Etienne van Hacht. The Ulan Bator Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Etienne van Hacht should have stopped the shot. Ulan Bator Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
