Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damian Trac got the match started through his kick off. When Frank Terwenhout fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brugge United's protests and gave Frank Terwenhout a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Terwenhout to maneuver through the defense. Thorsten Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Lambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Raoul Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Thorsten Ternes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brugge United's Aldo Candal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Frank Terwenhout nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thorsten Ternes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thorsten Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Lambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Raoul Lambert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aldo Candal came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Thomas Zielinski. But to his dismay, Thomas Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thorsten Ternes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Waron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Tim Köppen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the International Thunders and the Brugge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thorsten Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Wauters in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

International Thunders's Luca Divis was substituted for Tim Köppen. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pacho Carabajal to make the kick off. Thorsten Ternes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pacho Carabajal in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Thomas Zielinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Candal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brugge United's Pacho Carabajal got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thorsten Ternes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jozef Waron in the 69th minute. Aldo Candal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Trac in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Damian Trac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aldo Candal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Roth Prot. In the 75th minute, Björn Hainl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Trac came free, but Aldo Candal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Candal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Trac, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Arno Specht. In the 85th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Luar to maneuver through the defense.
