Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Qiu Feng Guo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marco Jamieson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Michael Verhaeghen. Qiu Feng Guo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Jamieson having to make a save. In the 20th minute Qiu Feng Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jamieson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristiaan Van den Haute in the 21st minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Ricky Waegemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Jamieson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Remco de Nooter struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Steve Van der Veeken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Gullegem. Steve Van der Veeken was a little too slow when Anton Volders got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 35th minute, Charl Anthonis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Jamieson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Feng Guo in the 41st minute of the match.

63 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Reemy Godefroid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Jamieson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Qiu Feng Guo scored 1-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Jamieson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Volders scored 2-6 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Van der Veeken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steve Van der Veeken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Jamieson in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Qiu Feng Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jamieson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reemy Godefroid took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Marco Jamieson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reemy Godefroid in the 88th minute. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cederique Jamieson hit a great ball. Qiu Feng Guo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. The Purple Talents supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Purple Talents would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
