The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Reijnders kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunter Roeckeloes. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Gunter Roeckeloes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cederik Huts. With 41 minutes on the clock, Joppe Wortelers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute, one of KFC Cromvelde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Cromvelde. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Savino got free with Gunter Roeckeloes in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Niels Vandamme in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KFC Cromvelde's Concetto Cesare. In the 57th minute, Dino Maquiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. KFC Cromvelde's Quillian Cromefeldt was substituted for Lia Arbulo. In the 63rd minute Quillian Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunter Roeckeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Savino in the 66th minute of the match. Blas Lertxun hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Kickers United made a substitution. Lode Rouvroys replaced Jorge Reijnders. 85 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Cesare. In the 88th minute, Lode Rouvroys made a precise shot to the right of Gunter Roeckeloes. KFC Cromvelde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. KFC Cromvelde's Gunter Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Gartzi in the 92nd minute of play. Lode Rouvroys took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunter Roeckeloes. Gunter Roeckeloes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the KFC Cromvelde players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kickers United.
