Melvin Seinstra hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Beetje Moe Re-United's Giel Lever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Beetje Moe Re-United from getting a goal against them. In the 6thth minute of the game Ted Borker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beetje Moe Re-United's Giel Lever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aniol Sampil in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Ágætis Byrjun's Ted Borker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giel Lever. Giel Lever yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Boer in the 17th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Erik Salens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Boer in the 21st minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giel Lever stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Borker's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Ágætis Byrjun got a corner. Beetje Moe Re-United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marc Plagge ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ágætis Byrjun's Harris Theisens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giel Lever in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Harris Theisens scored to the left of an out of position Giel Lever, making the score, 2-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Giel Lever, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Beetje Moe Re-United's Aniol Sampil in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ágætis Byrjun's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes Ágætis Byrjun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Japke Bleiswijk who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Beetje Moe Re-United's Japke Bleiswijk to fire away a dangerous shot which Maraman Reitsma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Giel Lever made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ted Borker sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Ted Borker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beetje Moe Re-United's Giel Lever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Borker in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giel Lever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Borker in the 43rd minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Giel Lever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Ted Borker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giel Lever was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Boer to strike the kick off in the second half. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Salens in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Kurt Boer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Maraman Reitsma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Borker in the 56th minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Giel Lever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Beetje Moe Re-United got a freekick which was hit by Aniol Sampil. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Salens in the 59th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Aniol Sampil came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giel Lever didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ted Borker went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ágætis Byrjun's Arnout Boswijk was substituted for Ton Kort. With his leg Maraman Reitsma managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Beetje Moe Re-United's Kurt Boer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 80 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Boer came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giel Lever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Borker in the 82nd minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Giel Lever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ágætis Byrjun's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Erik Salens scored to the left of an out of position Maraman Reitsma, making the score, 4-2. 96 minutes into the game, Paul van Mol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Giel Lever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beetje Moe Re-United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ágætis Byrjun.
