Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurens Erenstein started the match with the kick off. Ágætis Byrjun's attentive Jelle Vrieling managed to snatch the ball when Nicolas Valentini made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Golo Oolo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maraman Reitsma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Het Koffiehuis from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Ted Borker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Kun Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 14th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Het Koffiehuis from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Ted Borker rounded Het Koffiehuis's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Koffidis in the 31st minute of play. After 38 minutes, Gabriele Koffidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Het Koffiehuis and the Ágætis Byrjun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriele Koffidis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The throw-in from Nicolas Valentini in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ágætis Byrjun's Laurens Erenstein. 43 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Jiang Kun Liang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Borker. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Koffidis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 54th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Robert Folkers. Het Koffiehuis made a substitution. Lee Kang replaced Gabriele Koffidis. Het Koffiehuis's Ritchie Schepmans was substituted for Constantijn Bauwens. The supporters of Het Koffiehuis booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Folkers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Ted Borker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ágætis Byrjun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Maraman Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Smidts, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Smidts got free with Maraman Reitsma in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ágætis Byrjun's zone, Ritchie Schepmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maraman Reitsma came out of the goal and Ritchie Schepmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Fred Smidts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Kang came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Borker in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Paul van Mol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Smidts took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maraman Reitsma. Maraman Reitsma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
