Edwin Jennes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 played minutes, Espen Steelers's Christian Witzig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edwin Jennes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espen Steelers reached it. Christian Witzig kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Stan Hagemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VC zoetwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espen Steelers the free kick. In the 10th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Hagemans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when VC zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Van Linthaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Jennes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomone Weber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin Jennes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edwin Jennes came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär. But to his dismay, Fabian Schär quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Christian Witzig got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Giancarlo Weissmuller. In the 25th minute Ricky Meijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Einstein took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Jennes. Edwin Jennes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Einstein came free, but Edwin Jennes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes VC zoetwater got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Meijers. In the 37th minute Albert Einstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Jennes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Jennes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Witzig, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Edwin Jennes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giancarlo Weissmuller went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Fabian Schär made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Jennes. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Schmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Andres Ambühl replaced Andy Schmid. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid got a free kick in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Edwin Jennes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Weber in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mauro Aebi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Aebi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Jennes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Edwin Jennes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Schär. 65 minutes into the game, Albert Einstein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Edwin Jennes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Schär could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Edwin Jennes made a huge save. Edwin Jennes was a little too slow when Fabian Schär got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-9. In the 80th minute, Andres Ambühl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin Jennes. The goal made the score 0-10. Edwin Jennes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fabian Schär sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Jennes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Einstein went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Espen Steelers's Andres Ambühl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin Jennes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12.
