Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcel Loyola kicked off to start the match. When Cássio Maia came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sandinense ADF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Maia couldn't finish the play. Cássio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romário Linares hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sandinense ADF's Rodriguinho Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cássio Maia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandinense ADF's protests and gave Cássio Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Ediberto Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Rodriguinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Noia's zone, Rodriguinho Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Gonçalves came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodriguinho Dias made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Carioca to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Rodriguinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Dias in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Toninho Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandinense ADF's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Gonçalves having to interfere. Arnaldo Carioca's late challenge caught a Noia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Carioca. 79 minutes into the game, Marcel Loyola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony de Sena. Marcel Loyola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Tony de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmílson Massa in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Noia booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Cássio Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrianinho Gonçalves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Sandinense ADF from getting a goal against them. Noia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
