After some careless play in the União dos 7 FC defense, Wágner Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anísio Aparecido. The União dos 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anísio Aparecido should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, PATO BRANCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Pontes to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, União dos 7 FC's Leandro Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Anísio Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Viana in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Favoretto in the 31st managed to get into a good position. José Carlos Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Naci Cabezon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

60 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Peio came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of PATO BRANCO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of União dos 7 FC:s goal. The referee gave União dos 7 FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leandro Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PATO BRANCO FC's José Carlos Torres. 3-1. José Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Cabezon in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Naci Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos Torres. PATO BRANCO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naci Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 73rd match minute, PATO BRANCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Carvalho. In the 76th minute, Berke Topçam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. União dos 7 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
