Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) Bateia SC's Júlio da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Vaz in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Bateia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Dias came free, but Júlio da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Romário Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Júlio da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bateia SC's Zé Paulo Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Valle. If Rômulo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Palmeira. Júlio da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Dias in the 35th minute of play. Júlio da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Paraense in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rodriguinho Dias hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodriguinho Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Dias got free with Júlio da Fonseca in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Júlio da Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cássio Maia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Régis de Alcântara during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Régis de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bateia SC booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Júlio da Fonseca managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Sandinense ADF's Romário Linares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Léo Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sandinense ADF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
