Cafu Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Glembin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Norbert Glembin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Naldo Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF the free kick. Ulisses Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ulisses Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Penha having to interfere. Ulisses Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson de Godoi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hudson de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Silveira in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Penha saved Pinheiros Capibaras FC from getting behind. After 55th play minutes Hudson de Godoi shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ulisses Penha and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Luís Fabiano Baptista got a free kick in the 59th minute. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Giuseppe Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Ulisses Penha, making the score, 0-3. In the 66th minute Lenílson Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hudson de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Naldo Maia got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Silveira came free, but Ulisses Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Naldo Maia got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. When LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Hudson de Godoi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
