Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Xavier started the match with the kick off. David Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Xavier in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th minute, Flávio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13thth minute of the game Ronaldinho de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. David Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cafu Amaral was a little too slow when Dino de Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. David Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson de Almeida in the 25th minute of play. Giuseppe Silveira scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafu Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino de Toledo went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Luís Eduardo Furlan got a free kick in the 65th minute. José Maria da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Godoi having to interfere. Dino de Toledo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. José Maria da Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Maria da Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's José Maria da Costa got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Flávio Netto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 75th minute of the match José Maria da Costa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Maria da Costa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 76 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by José Maria da Costa. If Edvaldo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandinho Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. David Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Jorginho Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 91st minute, Luís Eduardo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Internazionale-RS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
