Noia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União dos 7 FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Noia's Vitório Simão got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of União dos 7 FC booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Silvério Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anísio Aparecido. União dos 7 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hermínio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Damião in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Damião during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Leandro Damião got a free kick in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, União dos 7 FC's Hermínio Barros threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Naci Cabezon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 25 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Dário Saldanha. In the 26th minute, União dos 7 FC's Leandro Damião dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Vitório Simão hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to União dos 7 FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leandro Damião hit a great ball. When União dos 7 FC's Leandro Damião in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Noia's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Borges scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Damião came free, but Hermínio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Simão in the 44th minute of play forced União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermínio Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Damião's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. With 47 minutes on the clock, Genílson Cardozo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 48th match minute, Noia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Figueiredo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Noia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Noia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dário Saldanha in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Dário Saldanha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Damião in the 58th minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Hermínio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noia's Hermínio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Cabezon in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Noia defense, Alfredo Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermínio Barros. The Noia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermínio Barros should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Leandro Damião made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Barros. Noia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of União dos 7 FC booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Damião struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hermínio Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for União dos 7 FC. União dos 7 FC made a substitution. Berke Topçam replaced Leandro Damião. When Berke Topçam came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the União dos 7 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berke Topçam couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Monteiro in the 80th minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Hermínio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naci Cabezon succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. If Luís Gustavo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Figueiredo scored 6-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anísio Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the União dos 7 FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
