Júlio da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Cabezon in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Naci Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 22 minutes into the match, Bateia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Borges came free, but Júlio da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Alfredo Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União dos 7 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 26th minute Leandro Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Gustavo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Zé Paulo Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naci Cabezon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naci Cabezon in the 33rd minute of play forced Bateia SC's goalkeeper Júlio da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Alfredo Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 38th minute, Naci Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The União dos 7 FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when União dos 7 FC's Alfredo Borges looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Júlio da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Damião in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Júlio da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Júlio da Fonseca made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naci Cabezon got free with Júlio da Fonseca in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Naci Cabezon took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Júlio da Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as União dos 7 FC's Naci Cabezon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio da Fonseca. That made the score 0-10 after 64 minutes of play. Bateia SC's Júlio da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Damião in the 67th minute of play. Júlio da Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Bateia SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leandro Damião 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Leandro Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Júlio da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. União dos 7 FC made a substitution. Berke Topçam replaced Leandro Damião. In the 75th minute, União dos 7 FC's Naci Cabezon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Júlio da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Naci Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Júlio da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio Veiga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Bateia SC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Alves. After a defensive mix-up in Bateia SC's zone, Berke Topçam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio da Fonseca came out of the goal and Berke Topçam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Borges scored 0-15 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio da Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over União dos 7 FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bateia SC throughout the match.
