Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Marques started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Puei EC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cláudio Passos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Fonseca in the 6th minute of play forced Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Marques's late challenge caught a Dragões de Campo Grande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Marques helped the player get up and apologised. 8 minutes into the match, Charles Fonseca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Puei EC's Filipe Leme. Filipe Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Marques in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Santos saved Dragões de Campo Grande from getting behind. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Charles Fonseca hit a great ball. Caco Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Leme having to interfere. With a little luck, Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos got control of the ball when Josué Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Santos made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cláudio Passos sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Kauan Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragões de Campo Grande fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Filipe Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Puei EC's Betinho de Castro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Fonseca in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, José Maria Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Filipe Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. If Charles Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Dragões de Campo Grande's Kauan Messias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Leme. Filipe Leme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 66th match minute, Puei EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Neto to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Leme having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Róbson Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puei EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragões de Campo Grande the free kick. 72 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Seco. After 73 played minutes Puei EC got a freekick which was hit by Caco Costa. Hugo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Kauan Messias fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragões de Campo Grande's protests and gave Kauan Messias a yellow card for diving instead. Kauan Messias hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Filipe Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Fonseca in the 81st minute of the match. If José Maria Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Gerber in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Mateus Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragões de Campo Grande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puei EC the free kick. Mateus Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
