In the 5th minute, Cristóvão Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Ciriaco George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Sayvion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. José Lopes hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Pintos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Perez to maneuver through the defense. Pintos's Anier Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Leite in the 17th minute of play. Renascença A.C.'s Baltazar Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Renascença A.C. from getting a goal against them. Anier Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Leite in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Leite in the 31st minute of play forced Pintos's goalkeeper Anier Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Stor kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cristóvão Leite's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Anier Sayvion on his right side and into the goal. 34 minutes into the game it was 0-4. The audience was convinced that Rufino Rengifo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Sayvion was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufino Rengifo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anier Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pintos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Renascença A.C. were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Rufino Rengifo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rufino Rengifo got free with Anier Sayvion in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciriaco George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Anier Sayvion made a huge save. If Rufino Rengifo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Cosme got free with Anier Sayvion in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pintos's Anier Sayvion got control of the ball when Rufino Rengifo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufino Rengifo in the 67th minute of play. Renascença A.C.'s Samuel Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Ediberto Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Renascença A.C. the free kick. In the 71st minute, Ediberto Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Sayvion was a little too slow when Rufino Rengifo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Baltazar Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Fonseca in the 77th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Renascença A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Fonseca came free, but Baltazar Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Pintos's goalkeeper Anier Sayvion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco George. Rufino Rengifo in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anier Sayvion, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciriaco George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Anier Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Pintos's goalkeeper Anier Sayvion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufino Rengifo. Ciriaco George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Anier Sayvion made a huge save. Anier Sayvion was a little too slow when Cristóvão Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Renascença A.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pintos.
